Elval Colour in Zak World of Façades UK

Elval Colour participates at the Zak World of Façades United Kingdom, which is taking place at Hilton on Park Lane in London on October 2.

Zak World of Façades is an International conference series on the subject of façade design & engineering. Presentations by industry professionals and interactive panel discussions featuring expertise from architects, façade consultants, fire consultants, façade engineers, structural consultants and related construction disciplines present and debate on various industry trends and challenges with an open approach to educate and share their insight to the delegates.

Recognizing the value of Zak World of Façades conferences, Elval Colour SA is a steady participant since 2016.

In the 50th Edition of ZAK World of Facades in London Adrian Brown, Fire Service Advisor | General Directorate of Dubai Civil Defense, is scheduled to speak at 14.40pm in session 3, track B. His presentation, with title ‘ACP: Everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask’ will focus on the value proposition, the quality and fire safety of aluminium composite materials.

Adrian is a fire service advisor with Dubai Civil Defence. His primary function is to provide support and advice to the Civil Defence for operational intervention, Fire preventative services and fire investigation.

His role in this position currently involves the responsibility for the approval of fire related equipment, products and systems for DCD listing. This also includes the approval for all Dubai facade and cladding systems.

Before arriving in Dubai Adrian spent 38 years with the UK fire and rescue Service the last 4 of which as the director of the fire engineering and fire investigation courses at the UK Fire Service College. He was also seconded to the office of the deputy prime minister as the north of England project manager responsible for the implementation of TETRA radio to the UK Fire and Rescue Services.

Adrian is a chartered fire engineer, a forensic fire investigator with the international association of arson investigators, a police officer with Thames Valley Police and also sits on the editorial board with BSI committee FH14 for British standards 9999, 9991 and 7974..
